Family provides update on man airlifted after Pinehaven intersection crash

Martin Joseph Holder (59), the truck driver airlifted after the Pinehaven intersection crash, has been identified. He sustained multiple severe injuries and faces a long recovery.

Following a serious crash at the notorious Pinehaven intersection on August 12, the family of the truck driver involved has identified him and shared an update on his condition.

The driver, Martin Joseph Holder (59), was confirmed by his sister, Michelle Thompson, who revealed he sustained multiple injuries.

“He was airlifted to the hospital after he broke both his legs and his thumb,” she said.

“He has pegs through his legs and will take a long time to recover due to the severe damage caused by the crash. I’m still in shock with the news and all the damage that he has taken.”
