Two charities, one big win at President Hyper’s golf day

This year’s President Hyper Charity Golf Day made a significant impact, with Angels Home Based Care and House of Mercy receiving a combined total of nearly R100 000 in support.

For the 15th consecutive year, President Hyper gave back to the community through its annual charity golf day.

This illustrious charity event took place at the Krugersdorp Golf Club recently, where funds were collected and awarded to various worthy charities.

President Hyper CEO Basil Synodinos said being able to make a difference in people’s lives is both humbling and a privilege.

“With support from our suppliers, this community-driven event continues to grow each year,” Basil said.

He added that they host this every year in September to give back to the community and make a change in people’s lives.

This year, the beneficiaries were Angels Home Based Care and House of Mercy, with Angels receiving a cheque for R50 000 and House of Mercy receiving R40 000.

“We look forward to hosting this event for the next decade and beyond,” Basil concluded.
