Muldersdrift M5 crash leaves driver dead

A driver died, and another was injured after a wrong-lane collision on the M5 in Muldersdrift.

The driver of the vehicle involved in Tuesday’s, November 25, horror crash involving a truck on the M5 in Muldersdrift, has died on the scene.

“The truck was travelling north on the M5. The vehicle came at high speed in the wrong lane and collided with the truck. The driver of the vehicle died on the scene, while the truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital by EMS with minor injuries,” said Jan Venter, director of Guardmax Protection Services, who confirmed the details to the Krugersdorp News.

He added that Guardmax was one of the first to arrive at the scene and immediately contacted medical personnel, EMS, the Muldersdrift police and other first responders to help clear the scene.
