St Ursula’s marks 60th milestone with sky-high surprise

St Ursula’s School marked its 60th birthday with creative celebrations, a drone display and plenty of sweet treats.

St Ursula’s School recently celebrated the Primary School’s 60th anniversary with a day of activities, games and reflections on its legacy.

Learners and teachers decorated the school quad with creative displays to mark the milestone.

Principal Ann Owgan said one of the highlights was a formation on the field, where learners and staff came together to create the number 60 while a drone captured aerial footage and photographs.

“We would like to thank FalconEmeral Projects, our official photographer for the day, for capturing all the festivities and decorations so beautifully. This was a gift to the school, and we deeply appreciate it,” Ann said.

All the children received an ice lolly before the high school learners, and teachers returned to their campus.

The Primary School and Preschool learners then continued the celebrations in the hall with a parade showcasing the creative birthday hats they had made.
