Late-afternoon crash at notorious Pinehaven intersection causes delays

A multi-vehicle crash has caused heavy traffic congestion on the N14 approaching the Pinehaven intersection from Oaktree.

Yet another multi-vehicle crash occurred at the notorious Pinehaven intersection late this afternoon, July 20.

The Krugersdorp News was on the scene at about 17:15, where traffic was heavily backed up on the N14 approaching the intersection from Oaktree.

According to towing responder Paul Viljoen, four cars and a truck were involved in the crash, which occurred at about 16:45.

Paramedics and Mogale Fire and Rescue were on the scene, with emergency personnel treating the injured while firefighters cleared debris from the roadway.

At the time of publication, News journalist Heinrich Greyling confirmed that at least two people had sustained injuries.

The extent of their injuries was not yet known.
