Motorists are advised to drive with caution or use alternative routes when travelling towards the N14 or R28 following a collision during peak-hour traffic on June 3.

According to BCI Security communications officer Paul Catlett, one of the drivers involved sustained critical injuries and was transported to a nearby medical facility for urgent treatment.

“We can confirm that our dispatch team was on the scene as soon as a tip-off was received. Several emergency services, including Help24, Interactive Security and FirstHelp, arrived and are assisting at the scene,” said Catlett.
