According to Curro’s marketer Dibuseng Maboya, their school grounds were full of happy barks and the sweetest smiles as families, friends, and their beloved furry companions gathered for a day of absolute fun in the sun.
Imagine the scene, dogs of every shape and size strutting their stuff down the runway. From tiny Chihuahuas to the ever-so-friendly Golden Retrievers. Unique personalities and charms were shown in every one of them.
“The day was also filled with exciting activities, delicious food stalls, refreshing drinks, and a cheerful atmosphere that captured the spirit of togetherness and animal love,” Dibuseng said.
She added that in true community spirit, donations poured in from generous vendors, attendees, and local pet shops, all of which were collected and soon to be donated to the SPCA, supporting their ongoing work in animal welfare.
High school principal David Felgate added that this was a proud milestone for the school.
“Seeing our learners, parents and the wider community come together with such joy and purpose was truly special. Given the overwhelming support and positive feedback, the Pooch Parade will now become an annual event, one that the school looks forward to growing in future.”
