The annual Curro Matric Gala Awards, an evening renowned for its prestige and emotional intensity, once again brought together top academic achievers from across the Curro group to celebrate outstanding accomplishment and dedication.

A highlight of the evening was Joshua Grobler, who delivered an exceptional academic performance with nine distinctions, placing him fifth overall in the entire Curro Independent Examinations Board (IEB) cohort for 2025.

She said Joshua was photographed alongside Cobus Loubser, the CEO of Curro and Mari Lategan, the deputy CEO, both of whom personally congratulated him on his remarkable performance.

“The evening reaffirmed Curro’s commitment to fostering excellence, celebrating not only academic brilliance but also the perseverance, discipline, and passion that motivate learners to succeed. As the lights dimmed on another unforgettable Gala, Curro Krugersdorp carried with it the pride of knowing that its learners continue to shine among the very best,” concluded Dibuseng.
