Laerskool Millennium primary school rugby enjoyed a successful August, with its U11 and U12 players and coaches taking part in the Gauteng Regional Rugby programme.
The regional matches brought together talented young rugby players from across Gauteng, allowing participants to showcase their skills and potentially earn selection for elite training groups later this year and ahead of the 2027 season.
Coaches and players celebrated
Millies rugby organiser Tumelo Keotleng said the school was proud of the players selected to represent the West Region, adding that their achievement was a reflection of their hard work, commitment and dedication.

He said the selections also demonstrated the strength of the school’s rugby programme and provided a solid foundation for the 2027 season.

Keotleng also acknowledged coaches Nelson Mogakoe and Gerhard Nagel for their contribution to the regional programme and the continued development of young rugby players.
