WATER USE LICENCE APPLICATION FOR KJ BOGATSU BOERDERY BOREHOLE USE FOR PIGGERY AND IRRIGATION OF LAND IN TERMS OF SECTION 40 AND 41 OF THE NATIONAL WATER ACT, 1998 (ACT NO. 36 OF 1998) KJ BOGATSU BOERDERY hereby gives notice of its intent to apply for a Water Use Licence (WUL) to the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) for water use activities as defined under Section 21 of the National Water Act.

The following water use under Section 21 of the National Water Act will be applied for:
`Section 21(a): Taking water from a water resource( Borehole)
Legal Framework This application is being lodged with the Department of Water and Sanitation to obtain the relevant water use license in terms of Section 21(a) of the National Water Act (Act 36 of 1998) for the proposed taking of water from a Borehole. We have Drafted this notice and is available to all stakeholders and Interested and Affected Parties in Magaliesburg for review and comment. Any comments must be sent to the contact details provided and will be addressed. The Technical Report will be submitted to the relevant authority (Department of Water and Sanitation for approval.
The applied water use is intended to support agricultural activities and sustainable development initiatives on land held by Mr Kabelo Joas Bogatsu. Opportunity to Participate:
