Fix your problem!

Pastor Gerrit Mes; from the pulpit.

A negative mindset or a critical spirit is a recipe for trouble.

For six weeks my family and our neighbours have had no water from Mogale City during the day.

Six weeks from 5.30am to about 10pm every day the water disappears. You cannot bath, shower or flush toilets. Washing clothes has to be done in the middle of the night. By God’s grace and a friend’s help, I solved the problem. Now we have water all day, every day. I had to fix my problem.

A 5 000 litre tank, a pressure pump, 2 metres of pipe and I am relaxed.

Yes, the problem had great spin-offs for me. I used my creative, God-given spirit to solve the problem, and as a bonus I am my wife’s hero. She loves me and thinks I am awesome.

You have it in you to solve any problem – your marriage, work, school, friends. Nothing is impossible if you have a good attitude.

Being negative and critical won’t get you anywhere.

Your problem is an opportunity to move from a zero to a hero.

The choice is yours – bitter or better.

Our problems are God’s opportunities to show what He really has made us of. Fix your problem today with God’s help.
