It is Valentine’s Day again! Years ago my mom sent my dad the following Valentine’s message.
Valentine, oh, Valentine!
Are you yours or are you mine.
Please be honest, please be true:
Lovest thou me or lovest thou you.
Valentine’s Day is not a religious celebration, yet it touches the heart of God.
God watched Adam in the Garden of Eden, a man who had it all. Yet God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone”.
Somehow in a world ruled by lust, many people have forgotten the beauty of real love.
1 Corinthians 13 in the Bible sums it all up for us. You can have everything, know everything, give everything but if you don’t have love you are pretty poor.
At this special time, please remember all the people that don’t have someone to share their love with. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
That is real love.
