We wish to thank the following organisations and individuals who supported the school during its recent bereavement:
• Mogale City Municipality’s Social Services Department, particularly the social worker, Mr Thabo
• The Chairperson of the Greater Krugersdorp Taxi Association
• The Manager of President Hyper, Krugersdorp
• The Manager of the Bakone Drop in Centre
• Pastor M Morare of the Kagiso Living Waters Bible Church
• Ms Rebecca Ngozi, an FNB employee
• Mr M Makhubela, for transport
• Mr G Shao, for transport
We thank all these organisations and individuals for assisting us to bury a learner from our school who drowned whilst attempting to swim with friends at Coronation Park. The story appeared on page two of the Krugersdorp News dated 3 February 2017.
The Municipality, through its social worker, assisted with the coffin, grave, hearse and family car, while President Hyper assisted with groceries. The Greater Krugersdorp Taxi Association and Mr M Makhubela and Mr G Shao provided transport to and from the school, church and cemetery. The Bakone Drop In Centre provided groceries, cooked for and served the mourners, and Pastor M Morare of the Kagiso Living Waters Bible Church allowed the family and the school to use the church, gave a sermon and conducted the burial rites. Ms Rebecca Ngozi helped us make contact with President Hyper.
We wish to heartily thank all these organisations and individuals for supporting us and the family and thereby ensuring that our learner was given a decent burial/funeral. We lack words to describe our appreciation of them for practically demonstrating ‘Ubuntu’ – we will forever remain indebted to them.
