
Reading about the Spur incident in one of your March editions sparked a bee in my bonnet about racism.
While both parties acted unbecomingly at the end, I call ‘BS’ when the woman gets all the apologies and decent treatment. I ask, did she get all the apologies because she is a woman, or was it because of skin colour?
Apartheid ended 23 years ago, but look, previously disadvantaged means its in the past! We’re all supposed to be equal now …
Africans, cut the crap! I see nothing but failure in everything you do. Government, president, education, economy, health care, Sassa … the list goes on.
I say, give everyone a reason to trust you to run things; take the blame for your mistakes; show us that you can build and not only ruin everything. Really, I’m pleading here. You’re running the country, so make it better, not worse!
Really remember this: (the whole world watches SA; every country does) if everyone has the same opinion of you (here too and other countries included), you need to think about why they think that of you and change it.
It’s not them with the problem. It really is you.
