There is a young Coloured chap who stands at various traffic lights, including those at Monument Shopping Centre, claiming to be collecting funds for his school’s sports tour.
This school sports tour has been going on for nearly a year now – the paper he has for you to note down your donation is fraudulent. The principal listed is no longer at the school and there is no school tour.
I have scanned and emailed the document to the school, but to no avail. It’s supposedly endorsed by the Gauteng Education Department, which is also false.
Be warned – he is a cunning little chap who moves about and certainly has the gift of the gab! I have repeatedly warned him to stop lying and misleading the public.
