KHS Best of the West kicks off
The annual sport event will start today at Krugersdorp High School.
The Best of the West Easter Festival will kick off today at Krugersdorp High School (KHS) where teams from all across the country will clash for the ultimate winner’s title.
KHS will be host over 700 players for the weekend.
“We will be hosting the annual dinner on Thursday night in the school hall with SA hockey player, Tswanelo Pholo, Lions rugby player Courtnall Skosan and actor Brandon Lindsay,” Lauren Jooste-Coetsee, the school’s Marketing Director said.
“We are looking forward to another great weekend of boys hockey and rugby,” she said.
The fixtures for the rugby first teams Best of the West Easter Festival are as follows:
Thursday, 24 March:
• 9.20am – Pretoria Boys vs CBC Boksburg
• 10.40am – Dinamika vs Roodepoort
• Noon – Hillcrest vs Monnas Kwaggas
• 1.20pm – St. Georges vs Ermelo
• 2.20pm – Linden vs Churchill
• 4pm – KHS vs Jabulani Rugby Club
Saturday, 26 March:
• 9am – Jabulani CBC vs Boksburg
• 10.20am – Pretoria Boys vs Roodepoort
• 11.40 – Monnas Kwaggas vs Dinamika
• 1pm – Club Rugby Promotional Sevens Match
• 1.20pm – Churchill vs Ermelo
• 2.40pm – Linden vs St. Georges
• 4pm – KHS vs Hillcrest
Monday, 28 March:
• 9.20am – Hillcrest CBC vs Boksburg
• 10.40 am – Monnas Kwaggas vs Churchill
• Noon – St Georges vs Dinamika
• 1.20pm – Ermelo vs Linden
• 2.40pm – Jabulani vs Roodepoort
• 4pm – KHS vs Pretoria Boys
Both the under 14 rugby teams and hockey players will also have matches on these days.
