Laerskool Bekker learner off to Scotland
Bekker is very proud to be seeing her jet off.
Shannon Olivier has been attending Laerskool Bekker Primary School for four years.
Not only does she excel at karate, but she has placed in the upper part of the Top 10 for three consecutive years.
In October last year, during the karate finals held in Cullinan, Shannon successfully fought her way to an outstanding award of two bronze medals in the purple belt category.
At this event she was selected to fight for the South African SZA Scotland Team.
Bekker is very proud to be seeing her jet off on 10 June, and the school wishes her all the very best in fighting the many international opponents that will be joining her there.
