Curro Krugersdorp recently held its third annual trail run to raise funds for environmental conservation.
Curro Krugersdorp celebrated another wonderful day of family fun and fitness as they took on a challenging trail run through the Rangeview hills.
On Saturday, 14 September, Curro hosted its third annual trail run, growing from 400 participant in the first year to 629. Serious and fun runners alike grouped together at the starting line outside Curro Primary and set off down the street and up the hills.

The various distances were 2,5k, 5km, 10km and a gruelling 21km run/ walk, which has been dubbed one of the toughest of its kind in Gauteng.
The event was organised by Curro’s Parent Advisory Committee with the purpose of raising funds to help the Proteadal Conservation Association in their attempts to preserve the environment and indigenous fauna, and flora throughout the West Rand. The area is known as one of the most environmentally sensitive in the country.
