Nories part of 27th St John’s College Easter Rugby Festival

Hoërskool Noordheuwel is one of several teams to take part in this year's St John’s College Easter Rugby Festival.

Hoërskool Noordheuwel is the only West Rand school to represent at the 27th St John’s College Easter Rugby Festival, which is considered by the organisers to be a celebration of the best in schoolboy rugby.

The festival takes place from March 28 to April 1 and there are no league tables, trophies, or medals, however, it is all about the love of rugby, school spirit and community. Over five days, St John’s College will welcome visitors to the festival from far and wide to witness a phenomenal line-up of U19 college and U13 preparatory teams and fixtures.

The tournament is said to be showcasing the best of schoolboy rugby. Photo submitted.

Teams include St David’s Marist Inanda, St Benedict’s College, the Golden Lions XV, Hoërskool Hans Moore, Hoërskool Noordheuwel and the host, St John’s College.

The rugby showcased on the Burger and C Rugby Fields will also be live-streamed via the SuperSport Schools app.
