According to the school’s marketer, Dibuseng Mabuya, this is a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication and talent of both the learners and their coaches.

The following players have earned their places on the district team:

• U15 Girls: Ava Wills and Kari Tise
• U19 Girls: Nikko van der Westhuizen
• U19 Boys: Nathan Hambridge and Lesedi Ntuane

The school’s tennis coach, Adam Gunning, expressed his pride in the players’ recent accomplishments and hopes this success will lead to even greater achievements in the future.

I am very proud of our top tennis players. Despite competing against learners from larger, more established schools, our players excelled at the D2 trials and truly represented the Curro name with pride.

“I look forward to the next term as our achievers take part in the next stage of the Gauteng West trials. This success highlights the strength of Curro Krugersdorp’s tennis programme and the school’s commitment to nurturing sporting excellence.”
