Darryn finishes 23rd in challenging San Marino GP

Despite a difficult race in San Marino, Darryn Binder is focused on bouncing back at the Motul Grand Prix of Japan later this month.

Local MotoGP2 racer Darryn Binder faced a challenging weekend at the Red Bull Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera, battling tricky conditions to finish 23rd, but remains determined to push forward in the championship.

After the race took place over the weekend of September 12 to 14, he announced on his official website that it was a difficult race for him.

“I was missing some front-end feeling from the beginning of the race. I did my best to keep it up, trying to get as fast as possible, but unfortunately, the 23rd position was the best I could do,” he said.

“It was an honour to ride with these colours today and I’m happy I managed to bring the bike back in this home GP for the team. Now looking forward to the overseas races,” he added.

Darryn is currently 24th in the Championship Standings and will race again at the Motul Grand Prix of Japan over the weekend of September 26 to 28.
