Entries Open
Entries for the Miss and Mr Cansa 2019 pageant are now open. This prestigious event will take place on 3 August at Silverstar and costs R300 per person. If you enter on the day, you will pay R350. There are eight categories to enter, ranging from three years to 19 years and older. Spectators are also welcome on the day at an entry price of R40 for adults and R20 for children. Winners of this pageant will also help assist Cansa at their regional and national projects. Melville Koppies Nature Reserve Hike
7 JULY — Join a three-hour guided tour through the Melville Koppies Nature Reserve, starting at 2pm. You can park in the upper car-park at Marks Parks on Judith Road, Emmarentia, opposite the entrance to the Koppies. Under the Sea Fun
UNTIL 14 JULY — Cradlestone Mall is bringing kids entertainment on a whole other level. Join them in an Under the Sea-inspired reality for the Winter school holidays. Entry is free and there are loads of things on offer, like a virtual aquarium, a shark fossil display and artifacts, a Virtual Reality Sea experience, an augmented reality education station featuring a seafood sustainability table and much more. Rhythm of the Night
