[PHOTOS] High hopes at Boktown
Bok fans cheered the green and gold on Silverstar's big screen.
It was a family affair at Silverstar’s Boktown during one late afternoon in August, when scores of Springbok fans gathered to watch the boys take on Argentina.
The Boks faced the Pumas in a farewell test at Loftus in what some described as a lacklustre game. Boktown was packed with Bok fans as they cheered the green and gold on Silverstar’s big screen. Even though the Boks left the field as victors, with a score of 24–18, they narrowly escaped with a win. Bok legend Gerrie Germishuys, together with Jamba Ulengo and Ross Cronje, were on hand to provide commentary on the game.

Gerrie stated quite a few times that he thought the boys were playing a rather below par game, saying that they should not consider their win as a pat on the back for a job well done, while Jamba and Ross reiterated that the Boks need to start getting their heads right for the mammoth task which lies ahead.
In between the cheering and high-fiving, a sense of camaraderie could be felt in the air at Boktown.

Fortunately, spirits were high enough for everyone to leave on a happy and positive note, hoping the boys would bring the World Cup trophy back home.
