6 OCTOBER — Come and listen to Lemon ‘n Limelight at the Ngwenya Country Market, Muldersdrift. This fabulous group is hugely popular and is made up of a network of top musicians. They have a diverse and extensive repertoire, ranging from background music to current party hits (including jazz, pop, rock, mainstream, Latino and reggae). They’re headed by Gavin Langeveldt (guitar, percussion and vocals) who has over 35 years’ experience in the music industry. Come and spend time outdoors with family and friends. Browse through the interesting stalls and enjoy some delicious food and a cocktail or coffee. Don’t forget that the market is pet-friendly – a day to look forward to! Meander through the magnificent Mulligatawny Farm Garden.

12–13 OCTOBER — Meander through the magnificent Mulligatawny Garden. The 16-hectare garden of Mulligatawny Farm in Skeerpoort, near the Cradle of Humankind, will be open to the public from 9am to 5pm. Clubs and groups are welcome on Friday, 11 October (during set-up). The glorious garden includes wetlands, 130 species of water lilies, thousands of roses, irises, crab apples, and a large collection of bamboo varieties, a garden cathedral, a lakeside folly, a flowering meadow and sculptures, stunning views, an exceptionally rich bird life and so much more.
