Nocturnal Creepy Crawlies

Noordskool 100 Jaar eeufeesviering
19 OKTOBER — Laerskool Krugersdorp-Noord vier hul 100ste verjaarsdag met ‘n pretdag vol plesier. Van vroeg af sal daar ‘n feesterrein met pretpark ritte, ‘n babakompetisie, talle stalletjies en vermaak vir die jongklomp wees. Vanaf 4nm sal gaskunstenaar die verhoog betree en om 8nm is Afrikaans superster Steve Hofmeyr op die verhoog. Dit gaan ‘n groot dag wees teen net R100 ‘n kaartjie. Kom geniet die dag saam jou vriende en familie terwyl Noorskool nog ‘n mylpaal vier!

23 OCTOBER — The Horticultural Society invites you to a talk by Renee Mendelow on Carnivorous Plants at The Floreum at the north entrance of the Joburg Botanic Garden on Olifants Road, Emmarentia. Members will pay R20 while visitors will pay R30, which includes refreshments. For enquiries, call 082 951 1432.

Christmas Market
2 November — It’s time for the annual Christmas Market at Gateway Village on Van Dalen Street South from 9am until 2pm. Please support them in their quest to raise funds for the intellectually disabled adults in their care. There will be live entertainment with Sonel and Friends, Candida and her Belly Dancers, fun games for the kiddies, stalls selling delicious food, bakery, books galore, clothing, ornaments and much, much more.
