Ladies Blush High Tea
16 NOVEMBER — The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) West Rand is hosting a ladies high tea from 10am at Glenburn Lodge in Muldersdrift, in their GlenCove venue. The cost is R250 per person, which includes a welcome drink on arrival. There will be a Glenburn Lodge & Spa Voucher Charity Auction (cash and cards will be accepted) and an inspirational guest speaker. All proceeds will go towards CANSA. Bookings are essential. 15 & 16 NOVEMBER — Taking you ‘over the rainbow’ from tropical islands to the gates of heaven, from the horror of alien invasions to the perplexing mystery of Santa’s missing cookies, Roodepoort Little Theatre (RLT) Productions returns to the Roodepoort Basement Theatre for another season of hilarious skits and sketches, and glorious song and dance. From 7.30pm, RLT improvistas improv comedy team will certainly have you rolling in the aisles by the time the final curtain falls! 20 NOVEMBER — Are you interested in herbs and do you enjoy strolling through a beautiful garden? Join the University of The Third Age West Rand on their visit to The Herb Farm in Midrand with its indigenous medicinal herbs, a scented rose garden and themed herbal gardens. Janet Viffee will be guiding them through the gardens. They meet at the Herb Farm at 10am for the walk. After the walk of about an hour, they will go to the Bistro for lunch. It is 39km from Cradlestone Mall and own cars will be used to get to the farm. Not a member of the U3A yet? This is your chance to join them.
