Open Day
22 NOVEMBER — Luipaardsvlei Clinic is hosting a healthy lifestyle open day from 10am to noon and invites all who are interested to pay them a visit. The clinic is at Jubilee Hall in Luipaardsvlei. Knowledge is power! Have any medical queries? Make sure you visit the open day!
Grass ID Course
23 NOVEMBER — Visit Kloofendal Nature Reserve from 9am to noon for a grass ID course. The recommended grass ID book, Van Oudtshoorn’s Guide to grasses of Southern Africa, published by Briza in Pretoria is the perfect guide. Some books are available for use from FroK reference library. Karin Spottiswoode will be the presenter of the course. The meeting place will be at the Kloofendal Ecological Centre and costs are R150 per person. Hike the Koppies

24 NOVEMBER — Get fit for the holiday break. Join the three-hour, 8,5km hike across the Melville Koppies. Hikers should be reasonably fit. Hike starts at 8.30am sharp. Costs are R60 for adults and R40 for children. Details: https://www.mk.org.za.
Richie’s Toy Fair
24 NOVEMBER — Come and visit Richie’s Toy Fair … you’ll be spoiled for choice! All kinds of collectable toys, trains and models will be for sale. Leading specialist dealers will be at the show, selling all kinds of new and old collectables. You can find model cars, games, trains, planes, Star Wars, Dinky Toys, Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Corgi Toys, Scalextric, teddy bears, dolls, action figures and much more. Where?
