Dance Inc Randfontein recently held a beautiful and heart-warming original ballet called ‘The Christmas Slippers’ at Hoërskool Riebeeckrand.
Ballet teacher Ilse de Bruyn said that since September the girls aged two to 19 worked hard for the concert that was held on Saturday, December 11.
Ilse who choreographed the ballet said, “The girls were extremely thrilled to present their hard work.
My greatest wish as a ballet teacher is to keep the magic of ballet alive in every little girl’s heart, and offer them every opportunity to live out their ballet dreams.”
She explained that this year they are collaborating with Dance Inc in Krugersdorp for their theatre production called ‘Rhapsody in Pink’ that will be presented on the Roodepoort Theatre stage on Saturday, March 12.
