Koraalboom Golf Tournament a success

This year’s Koraalboom Golf Tournament was a huge success with four days of good golf and good spirit at the Tzaneen Country Club (TCC).

Club captain of TCC, Christopher Atherstone, says that the tournament brought together some regular TCC golfers with players from Nelspruit, Springs and Pretoria taking on the challenge. The tournament started on Thursday with the PPS Individual Points Stableford (IPS) competition. Evert Bekker took the win with 42 points.

“He shot 73 from a seven handicap, which is brilliant,” says Atherstone. On Friday the golf players took on the Mercurius Motors Betterball with Jaco and Stephan Potgieter from Mbombela Golf Club taking the win. The NTT IPS was played on Sunday with Yolande Rautenbach winning the competition with 42 points. Rautenbach was also the overall winner of the IPS competition.
