POLICE in Bolobedu have arrested two suspects aged between 23 and 26 years in connection with the murder of Abbey Malatji (41).
According to police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, the incident occurred at Mapulankeng Section in Kgapane on Sunday.
It is alledged that the deceased was walking home from a shebeen when he met the two suspects who started a fight. “He was stabbed six times in the chest with a sharp instrument.
He was taken to Ga-kgapane Hospital where he was certified dead on arrival,” said Ngoepe.
The two suspects appeared briefly before the Bolobedu Magistrate Court on Tuesday. Ngoepe said the motive is unknown and investigations are continuing.
