
THE suspects arrested in connection with a robbery last week Monday appeared in the Tzaneen Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
According to Tzaneen Cluster spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, details of the crime and the identities of the suspects could only be confirmed after they have appeared in court.
Three of the suspects appeared in the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court on Friday for car hijacking.
They confessed to hijacking a 24-year-old woman at gunpoint on the Saturday before the robbery, police spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said.
She had been attending a wedding in Ga-Makanye village in Mankweng.
The vehicle was used to flee the scene of the robbery.
