Residents urged to verify their particulars on the eNaTIS system

The Greater Tzaneen Municipality residents registered on the eNaTIS or making use of eNaTIS services are reminded to verify address particulars on the eNaTIS system.

According to the municipal spokesperson, Neville Ndlala, this is to ensure that they receive vehicle and driving licence renewal notices and other road traffic related communiqué.

Ndlala said residents are further advised to adhere to the requirement by the government gazette in the amended National Road Traffic Regulations published on the 30th October 2014.

The amended regulation requires people to submit the following particulars after a period of 12 months from the date of publication (30TH October 2014), the new regulation came into effect on the 1st November 2015. Full names, Identity number, Residential and Postal address.

“Proof may be submitted in cases where information in the above documents needs to be supported for confirmation of identity and physical address. This regulation will apply to all drivers of motor vehicle, owning a motor vehicle or holding a valid South African driving licence,” said Ndlala.

He further urged residents to take the advice very serious.

“Residents who will not comply will not receive important vehicle and driving licence renewal notices and other road traffic related communiqué central to efficient communication with the eNaTIS users,” he warned.
