PHALABORWA: SANDF member granted bail

An SANDF member who was arrested for being in possession of ammunition was granted bail on Monday.

The accomplice was remanded in custody.

They appeared before the Phalaborwa  Magistrate court on Monday.

The member Santos Leon Congo (40) was granted a R1 000 bail.

The case was remanded to March 10.

Congo’s  accomplice,  Sambo Boye (44) was remanded in custody until January 23 for bail application.

The police in Phalaborwa together with the National Intervention Unit arrested Congo and Boye over the weekend for being in possession of illegal ammunition.
