“It is alleged that shacks caught fire and burnt to ashes whilst the people were sleeping in the early hours of today. Forensic investigations are underway to determine the cause of fire and whether there are other dead people still trapped in the burnt shacks or not,’ Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe said.
