Mandela Day looked like Xmas for a local farm school

Christmas Day came early for the learners of Lehlaba Farm School in the Georges Valley area outside Tzaneen.

The Phelophepa Health Train employees took the ‘hospital’ to the learners where they did basic check-ups and also gave them medication.

After they all received their basic check-ups,  the train team hosted a fun event where they played creative games with the kids.

After all the festivities were done all the kids were treated to packs of snacks, ready packed lunch boxes, school bags and cosmetics.

The team also streched their kindness further to giving away food and cosmetics to the community.

“We are happy that the team came to our school and saved the parents the trip to the train and I would like to thank them for the gifts,”said Obed Shiluvana, Principal of Lehlaba Farm Primary School.
