Play and water park for children now open at Bosveld Village

One of Hoedspruit’s popular venues, the Bosveld Village, will be undertaking a selection of new and innovative projects.

Patrick Jordan of Jordan Properties, a well-known local property developer, says they realised that there was a great demand for safe, yet exciting entertainment facilities for children. This led to them launching the Kidz @ Bosveld Village play and water park on Saturday, September 3 during the monthly Hoedspruit Farmer’s Market.

The hot, spring weather was enticing enough to get parents to grab their kids, bathing suits, towels, and sunscreen and head to the Bosveld Village just south of Hoedspruit on the R40. The small entry fee to the park also included a fun ‘fishing for warthogs’ game, which saw patrons winning one of over 150 prizes and discount vouchers from the Bosveld Village tenants. Jordan told the Herald that their vision for the kids’ entertainment hub was to create a safe and fun place for children to play, while their parents could relax at one of the many lovely restaurants and shops at the Bosveld Village.

The Kidz @ Bosveld play and water park, situated to the left of The Brewery restaurant caters to younger children and boasts a spacious and colourful playground under the trees with rubberised Astroturf flooring and a white picket fence for safety; mini climbing walls, slides, a zip line, splash area, mud kitchen, sand pit, scooter race track and ground games, such as hopscotch.

A daily entrance fee of R50 per child is payable directly to one of the dedicated child minders. Operating hours are from 10:00 to 18:00 on
weekdays and from 09:00 to 21:00 on weekends. You can drop off your little one with confidence and enjoy the many products and services on offer at the centre, while you have your car washed at the on-site car wash. The Mini Golf @ Bosveld Village and Arcade @ Bosveld Village facilities border directly onto the Kidz @ Bosveld Village play area and cater to older children, up to around 15 years of age.

The Bosveld Village portfolio is already a big hit with families and many more exciting new developments will soon be revealed.
