Melvin has his eyes on the 2023 Mr South Africa title

Mr South Africa 2023 hopeful, Melvin Ndlhovu, advocates for the empowerment of the boychild.

He believes that young men lack good examples and sometimes their voice in society are not load enough. “Throughout this pageant journey, I aim to tell boys that they too matter. I believe that boys have a huge role to play in all spheres of life; but without people who believe and motivate them, we can end up losing them to drugs and criminality,” he said.

The Mr South Africa contestant emphasised that he has nothing against the girl-child, he advocates for their rights as well. Ndlhovu was born and bred in Nkowankowa, outside Tzaneen, but currently resides in Gauteng. He has thrived in the corporate world, but has recently started to be more involved in the entertainment industry. He is also a professional actor and recently acted in a movie called ‘Ingoma’ which will be available on Netflix from June 17.

He is also a fitness enthusiast and a personal trainer. His pageant journey was crowned Mr Hudson Ntsanwisi in the early 2000’s. He was also a soccer star and represented Hudson at school. He is also known for his great sense of humour. His advice to anyone who has a dream is to never stop
dreaming. “Your background is no longer a limitation to the heights you can reach, everyone can achieve their wildest dreams.

“Limpopo continues to showcase how it has the most talented, gifted and able individuals in the country and beyond, so work hard towards your goals and dreams,” he concluded. To vote for Melvin, visit the Mr South Africa site and click on his photo or follow this link https://bit.ly/3p9MGyf
