Collins Chabane Muni participates in Wellness Games

Collins Chabane Muni impressed at the National Wellness Games in East London, with its soccer team topping their group and netball team securing win.

LIMPOPO – Collins Chabane Municipality recently participated in the Wellness Games between municipalities nationally in East London.

The soccer team had a good start and claimed the top spot in their group matches.

They obtained nine points scoring 12 goals in three games, qualifying for the knockout stages where they were eliminated.

The women’s netball team also played well. In their first game, they won 20-4 against Thaba Cheu Municipality, however, in the second game, they were beaten 10-4 by Nelson Mandela

Municipality and in the third and final game, they lost 7-9 against Rustenburg Municipality.

The municipality says it is happy with its performance and believes it will do better next year.
