Francolin learner (17) authors book on transformation

Nicol Malatji releases debut book, "Transform Your Life with Tales of Love, Life and Learning," sharing inspiring stories from his life experiences.

LIMPOPO – Young and enthusiastic Nicol Malatji has released his debut book, Transform Your Life with Tales of Love, Life and Learning.

The 17-year-old from Makhushane village outside Phalaborwa and a Gr 10 learner at Francolin College, says the book comes from the trials and tribulations he has faced in his own life.

“My inspiration for writing the book is transforming lives through storytelling,” he says.

The book has a collection of stories with contributions by Kgethego Masinga, Sharmila Gazide, Kgaugelo Mmutlane and Temosho Mahasha.

He is developing his company, Nicol Publishing, which is aimed at empowering local writers and disseminating narratives.

After high school, he plans to be an Information Technology (IT) professional and also pursue journalism.
