Apex Academy gives back to SPCA

Apex Private Academy learners show kindness to animals, raising R7 775 in funds and awareness for Letaba SPCA.

TZANEEN – Learners from Apex Private Academy in Tzaneen successfully raised R7 775 for the Letaba SPCA.

In addition, the school also contributed a variety of pet food to assist the shelter in feeding the animals.

Ellie Potgieter, an inspector at the Letaba SPCA, received the donation on behalf of the shelter.

During her visit, she spoke to the learners about the importance of animal care and expressed her gratitude for their support.

Halima Omar, a teacher at Apex and an avid animal lover, emphasised the significance of supporting organisations like the SPCA.

“I urge residents to start supporting animal shelters because they protect our pets from danger. Let us champion these organisations by supporting them financially and with our time,” Omar said.
