49 newborns arrive in Mopani on New Year’s

Mopani district ushers in the new year with the arrival of 49 newborns across local hospitals, bringing joy and celebration to families in the region.

LIMPOPO – On January 1, health facilities in Mopani welcomed 49 newborns, 26 girls and 23 boys.

In Tzaneen, Dr CN Phathudi Hospital welcomed six newborns, three girls and three boys.

Letaba Hospital welcomed five babies, three girls and two boys, while Van Velden Hospital welcomed three girls. In the Greater Letaba area, Kgapane Hospital received eight bundles of joy, five boys and three girls.

In Maruleng, Sekororo Hospital recorded seven babies, five boys and two girls.

Maphuta Malatji Hospital in Phalaborwa also welcomed eight babies, four girls and four boys.

Nkhensani Hospital in Giyani welcomed the most babies with six girls with three boys being born on New Year’s Day.
