Art Festivus invites young creatives to enter

The Art Festivus 2025 is open to all ages and promotes youth creativity through art, music, writing, and more.

LIMPOPO – Art Festivus is an exciting annual event that celebrates creativity and artistic expression in various forms.

With the closing date for entries on July 25, artists and performers are invited to enter to showcase their talent.

“The competition invites participants to submit their artwork across a wide range of categories, including painting, photography, singing, poetry and digital art. This inclusivity allows artists from different backgrounds and styles to take part and express themselves through their chosen medium. One of the main goals of the Art Festivus competition is to encourage creativity in young people. High school learners are especially encouraged to participate, as this provides them with a platform to share their unique perspectives. For many young artists, competitions like Art Festivus can be a significant stepping stone in their artistic journey,” said Mareli van der Walt, the organiser of the Art Festivus.
