Mrs Limpopo 2025 empowers rural learners

From Modjadjiskloof, Mrs Limpopo 2025 Mathapa Maake, launches My Schools Mandate Project to donate uniforms, shoes, and hygiene kits to rural learners.

LIMPOPO – Mrs Limpopo Province 2025, Modjadjiskloof’s Mathapa Maake, is dedicated to empowering learners across the province through her My Schools Mandate Project.

The initiative focuses on supporting rural schools by donating essential items such as school uniforms, shoes, stationery, sanitary pads, and hygiene kits containing soap, toothpaste, lotion, and washing powder.

Maake is calling on the public and businesses to contribute either money or needed items to help uplift learners in need.

Maake told the Herald that the donations aim to boost children’s confidence and show them they are not alone.

“I want youngsters to know there are people who care about their well-being,” she explained.

Since being crowned last year, Maake has used her platform to make a positive impact, including visiting children’s homes, sponsoring a local soccer team, and providing school uniforms to various schools.
