Giyani boxing star defeated

Giyani Boxing Club member Prince Ndlovu (31) was defeated by Sibusiso Zingange (31) in the African Boxing Union Juniour Lightweight title held at the Sandton Convention centre on Friday, May 18.

Ndlovu, who is the Limpopo Junior Lightweight Champion lost after contesting in all 8 rounds .

Despite the loss, his trainer Emmanuel Muthavhatshindi was happy with his performance, “I’m so happy about Prince’s good performance, even though we lost this match, but it shows that the future is bright and we will win more titles.

“I accept the loss. We are going back to the gym and to correct some mistakes and improve ourselves for the upcoming fights,” he said.

But some good news for Giyani Boxing Club is that their boxer Humbulani Netshamatshedzi (30) won by anonymous decision in his category at the very same venue and date.

Muthavhatshindi applauded Netshamatshedzi om the win.
