With unpredictable weather conditions, wild animals, and extreme physical demands, the race requires participants to demonstrate exceptional teamwork, mental fortitude, and strategic planning to reach the finish line.

They spent nine days without any access to the outside world and minimum sleep and travelled a total of 800km, either cycling, kayaking, or trekking. Nyiko told the Herald that it was a great experience and that he is pleased that there were no injuries from his team. “My mission in life is to inspire other people, to do what is usually humanly impossible to do,” he concluded.
