TV show brings out the best of Tzaneen’s talent

Presenters Lorcia Cooper and Morena Sefatsa were impressed by the local talent.

The community of Tzaneen was given a chance to showcase their talents for the whole nation to see during SABC 2’s Showville at Nkowankowa Community Hall last Wednesday.

Four finalists battled against each other with the hopes of being titled Tzaneen’s best talent.

The finalist were as follows; Jennifer, singer; Mpho Aurora, singer and actress; Amawrong Buttons, dancers and the Crazy Virus, comedians.

In the end, Amawrong Buttons were crowned winners and they also took home a cheque of R10 000.

The duo dancers and high school learners from Dan Village won after receiving the most votes from the audience.

The TV show travels all around the country mostly in small towns giving ordinary citizens a chance to showcase their talents.

Presenters Lorcia Cooper and Morena Sefatsa were impressed by the local talent.

“The performances that we saw here was unexpected, the talent and style was world class. It is great and entertaining to see young people being committed to their craft,” explained Sefatsa.
