Update: Bail granted to ‘acid attacker’
Drama unfolded at the Middelburg Magistrate court on Thursday morning when a victim’s family learned that an alleged acid attacker was granted R1000 bail days before the trial.
Euphemia Sethema (34) allegedly threw Sesy Linah Skosana (27) with acid in her face during an argument at their lovers house in July this year.
The victim, who is still recovering in hospital, is scared for life.
“They let Euphemia out so she can go finish off my daughter,” yelled the victim’s mother in court.
The court learned that the man in the centre of the drama is a witness.
The trail was postponed to the 9th of March 2016 due the victim’s condition.
