Graphic Images – Sheep carcasses in boot

Belfast police arrested a 19 year old male, Moses Lukhele, for the possession of stolen property.

He briefly appeared in Belfast Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday. The case was postponed for further investigation.

The suspect’s grey VW Jetta was stopped by police and three sheep carcasses were found stashed at the back of the car’s boot.

• In another case Nkatheko Ndlovu (25) was arrested and charged with armed robbery.

“It is alleged that on the 11 December the accused went to one of the shops in Siyathuthuka, armed with a firearm and demanded cash from the owner of the shop. He took the money and the owner’s cellphone before fleeing the scene.” said Sergeant KC MacDonald, Communication Officer of Belfast Police.

The accused briefly appeared in the Belfast Magistrate’s Court on 14 December on a charge of armed robbery. The case was postponed to 18 December.
