(Warning Graphic Content) – Sewerage line blocked by dumped foetus

Another dumped foetus was found dumped in Middelburg.

The foetus was found by municipal workers, busy unblocking a blocked sewerage line in Zandile Street, Extension 2.

The grim discovery was made after residents alerted the municipality about effluent flowing down the street.

The SAPS and forensic pathology services were summoned to remove the remains.

The head of the foetus was found separate from the body.

• The discovery come on the back of five similar discoveries of dumped foetuses, in two months’ time, last year.
