Soldier and friend dissappear

A soldier from 4 SAI and her friend have disappeared into thin air whilst they were travelling in a convoy with other friends from Pretoria to Middelburg.

Lesego Manabolo (22) and Bruno Sibusiso Ndlovu (31), were last seen at the Zambezi Toll Plaza when they turned off the highway to stop at a rest station at around 23:00 on Sunday 19 July. They were travelling in a black Renault Sondero.

Their friends, who were travelling in a separate car, waited for them alongside the highway. After a while they thought that the couple must have passed them and continued on their journey alone. Suspicions were raised when neither Manabolo or Ndlovu showed up for work on Monday 20 July.

Anybody with information about the couple is urged to contact Xolani Ndlovu on 079 943 4955 or the investigating officer Sergeant Vincent Komane on 079 373 4704.

Majola was reported missing a month earlier when he left his home in Mhluzi but never arrived at work in Blinkpan. Monkwe was reported missing after he did not return home in Bronkhorstspruit from a meeting in Middelburg.

Bruno Sibusiso Ndlovu (31) went missing last Sunday night.
